Ingleside International was founded in 2011 by Dr. McLewin and a team of volunteers, in partnership with Ingleside Church. We exist to equip believers who serve in countries with restricted religious freedom — places where ministry is costly, training is scarce, and the loss of a single leader can set back a movement.
History has shown that when promising leaders are brought to the West for training, they rarely return home. So we go to them. We bring world-class biblical training, year after year, to the leaders who are already on the ground and we let them multiply it.

Three ways we equip the persecuted church.
On-the-Ground Training
Courses on evangelism, discipleship, Old & New Testament, freedom in Christ, and biblical geography — taught in-country to leaders who can’t leave to study abroad.
Strategic Partnerships
Dr. McLewin meets national leaders at major networking events, then travels to their countries 4–6 times a year to train alongside them — building decades-long trust, not one-off visits.
Digital Discipleship
Since COVID, our messages have reached more than 150 million devices. Translated teaching materials in 14 languages now travel where physical missionaries cannot.

We’re praying for 700 monthly partners at $16/month. That’s $125,000 a year — enough to fund seven major training events and three regional gatherings where Dr. McLewin meets the next wave of national leaders.

Dr. McLewin — born on the mission field, still serving it.
Dr. McLewin was born into a pioneer missionary family. In 1949, his parents sailed by steamship from New York to South Africa to bring the Gospel to Indian laborers in the sugar cane fields of Natal.
He served as senior pastor of Ingleside Church for 40 years and now serves as International Pastor and director of Ingleside International. He travels overseas 4–6 times a year and has taught in more than 73 nations.

Are gifts to Ingleside International tax deductible?
Yes. Ingleside International Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia with federal tax-exempt status. You’ll receive an emailed receipt for every gift.
How is my gift used?
Gifts fund training events, translation of teaching materials, and Dr. McLewin’s travel to partner organizations. Local participants sometimes pay a small registration fee, and as national churches mature they cover more of the cost themselves.
Why train leaders overseas instead of bringing them here?
When nationals come to the West for training, they very rarely return. That’s a devastating loss to the local church. Bringing the trainer to them keeps the brightest leaders ministering in their own countries.
What does $16/month actually do?
We’re praying for 700 partners at $16/month. Together that’s $125,000 a year — enough to fund seven major training events and three regional networking gatherings each year.
